How to keep your job search on schedule

A missed follow-up or a forgotten closing date can cost you an interview. My schedule keeps the dates of your search in one place, saved to your Expertini account so they are there on any device you sign in on.

What to put on it

  • Interviews — date, time, the address or video link, and who to ask for.
  • Follow-ups — about a week after you apply or interview, if you have not heard back.
  • Deadlines — the closing date of every advert you plan to apply to.
  • Networking — coffee chats, careers fairs and calls with contacts from the networking toolkit.

Add events to your own calendar

Each event has an “Add to calendar” button that downloads a standard .ics file. Open it and Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar adds the event, with a reminder one hour before timed events. “Download upcoming” puts every event from today onwards into one file. Times are saved as you type them, in your own time zone.

Month or agenda

The month view shows busy days at a glance — pick a day to see its events. The agenda lists everything coming up in date order, and past events you can look back on. Prepare for each interview with interview practice and the Q&A vault, and track the application itself in JobFlow.

Is my schedule private?

Yes. Your events are saved to your own Expertini account and are never shown to employers.

Does it send me reminders?

Not from this page. Add the event to your own calendar with “Add to calendar” and your calendar app reminds you — the file includes a reminder one hour before timed events.

Can I use it without an account?

You can try it on this page, but events are only saved once you create a free account or sign in.

Why do some interviews have no edit button?

Those come from your Interview center. They are shown here so your calendar is complete; change them in the Interview center.
